This intermediate sewing class is perfect for those looking to refresh their previous beginner skills or as a follow-on to the beginners "Sew you Can" course. With a focus on overlockers, all things pattern ! Laying out fabric, cutting, pattern marking & measuring. We will cover some technical sewing like collars, gathering and buttonholes. Participants will take their sewing skills to the next level. Join us and elevate your sewing expertise!
What’s included:
As well as all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines, all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your projects. We have beginners patterns & fabric for sale in our on site Haberdashery. This is a 2 day course over one weekend Saturday & Sunday and our friendly knowledgeable Tutor will be on hand.
What do I need to bring:
You will need to bring the fabric that you need for your chosen project & your pattern. Please feel free to email if you need any guidance on which pattern/fabrics are suitable.
This class is for you if:
You have completed our beginners course, or it's been such a long time you don't feel confident. If you need help learning the basics like pattern measuring and cutting, learning about seam allowance or you have never tackled any simple projects. This class is aimed at people over the age of 16. If you are under 16 people contact us before booking.
