This roomy all-purpose tote bag has a handy key loop inside and two exterior pocket options: a zipper pocket or a slip pocket (or you could add both – one on each side). Plenty room for beach towels, sun cream and books !
Suggested fabrics: Home dec, heavy linen, denim, canvas, twill, duck cloth for exterior and lining. Quilting cotton for accent fabric.

44″ (112 cm) wide fabric: Exterior fabric, 1 1/4 yd (1.2 m) // Lining fabric, 1 1/4 yd (1.2 m) // Accent fabric (handles, pocket lining), 3/4 yd (0.7 m) // Accent fabric (facing), 1/2 yd (0.5 m).
54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: Exterior fabric, 1 yd (0.9 m) // Lining fabric, 1 yd (0.9 m).
Sizing: Finished dimensions: 14.5″ W across base x 14.5″ H (23.5″ including handle) x 7.5″ D.
Notions: 10″ zipper (optional); 4.5″ of 1″ wide twill tape or ribbon; 2 3/4 yd of fusible woven interfacing (20″ wide); swivel clasp (1″) or D-ring (1″). Additional interfacing options are included in the instructions.
