What could be sweeter than your very own handmade bear!
Make your bear from fabric scraps and fat quarters, or a memory bear from fabric that means a lot to you. In this class, our tutor will guide you every step of the way as you make your precious little bear.
Who is this class for?
There is some tricky sewing with small pieces in this class, so this class is not for you if you have never done any sewing before. If you are comfortable using a sewing machine and have completed some sewing projects, this class is for you. This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level class - if in doubt, get in touch, and we will advise you if we think this class is right for you.

You have never used a sewing machine before - we recommend completing one of our beginner's classes first.
What's included:
Besides all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines and all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your project. We will provide all the interfacing you need for your bear too.
What do I need to bring:
You will need to bring the fabric that you need for your teddy. This can be fat quarters or larger sized scraps/leftovers from over projects. You can also make your bear a memory bear using items of clothing. Clothing without stretch will be easiest to work with, but you can also use fabric that has stretch. Again, if in doubt, please get in touch. As well as this you will need around 500g of teddy stuffing for your bear. We sell this in the studio shop, or you can bring your own.
LUNCH: We will take a half an hour break for lunch, please bring a packed lunch.
This is not really enough time to pop to the shops to buy something, so please bring your lunch with you so that we can ensure you have enough time to complete all of the projects. We have a fridge you can store your lunch in and a microwave should you need. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits.
PLEASE NOTE: After booking this class you will be sent two emails. This first will confirm your booking and the second will contain important information such as where to find us and the fabric requirements for the class. If you do not receive these please check your junk mail.
Ammendments and cancelations are only permitted within 48 hours of booking, so please ensure you can make the dates.
