The Peony Dress is the dress you have been missing from your wardrobe. Made in a silk or pretty viscose crepe, it’s the perfect special occasion dress, or made in a linen or babycord you can dress it down for daytime. The Peony Dress also features a fantastic couture technique to add shoulder puffs to your dress.

This class uses the Fabric Godmother Peopny Dress. Fabric Godmother have sized this pattern UK 6-30, this is bust 80cm - 140cm, waist 60cm - 120cm and hips 84cm - 144cm. We will not be able to make any ammendments to extend this size range on this class.

What's Included
We will provide you with full use of our sewing machines and overlockers and all the sewing kit like scissors, pins and chalk that you will need, as well as any thread or interfacing that your pattern requires.
What Will I Need To Bring?
You will need to purchase your own copy of the Fabric Godmother Peony Dress pattern and bring it to class, cut and ready to sew. You will also need to bring along the fabric you need to make your dress. After booking we will send you an email which will explain exactly the type of fabric you should bring and how much you will need. You will also need to bring a packed lunch.
This Class Is For You If
This is an adult improver dressmaking class. That means it’s not ideal as your first dressmaking class, or for complete beginners. You will need to be able to use a sewing machine and follow a seam allowance. Ideally you will have completed some beginner dressmaking projects such as our Sew a Simple range of classes. We will ask you to come to class with your pattern and fabric cut and ready to sew, so you will need to be comfortable doing this at home. This class is for over 16s only. This Class Is Not For You If
This is an adult class, so it is not for anyone under the age of 16. This class is also not for you if you have never used a sewing machine before and never tried using a dressmaking pattern.
PLEASE NOTE: After booking this class you will be sent two emails. This first will confirm your booking and the second will contain important information such as where to find us and the fabric requirements for the class. If you do not receive these please check your junk mail.
Amendments and cancelations are only permitted within 48 hours of booking, so please ensure you can make the dates.
