Avenir Jumpsuit Workshop
Join us for a relaxed and creative dressmaking workshop where you’ll create the beautiful Avenir Jumpsuit by Friday Pattern Company.
The Avenir Jumpsuit is a stylish yet comfortable design featuring soft gathers, wide legs and optional long or short sleeves. With its easy fit and elegant silhouette, it’s the perfect project for confident beginners and improvers looking to build their dressmaking skills.
During this workshop, our tutor will guide you through each stage of construction including:
- reading and understanding the pattern
- cutting your fabric
- creating elasticated gathers
- garment assembly and finishing techniques
- Your very own pattern worth £22
You will leave with a beautiful handmade jumpsuit and the confidence to recreate the pattern again at home.
Suitable for:
Confident beginners and above.
You should be comfortable using a sewing machine independently.
What you will need to bring:

Fabric as recommended by the pattern
(linen, rayon challis or soft drapey woven fabrics work beautifully) - Matching thread
Machines:
Sewing machines and irons are available to use in the studio, or you are welcome to bring your own machine if preferred.
Tea, coffee and a friendly sewing atmosphere always included you need to bring your own lunch as this is a full day class ☕✨
