The Mave Skirt is a super comfy skirt with gathered tiers and extra swish-factor. An elasticated skirt that sits on the waist, Mave has 8 variations, depending on which ruffle and skirt pieces you choose. There’s also three length options, so you really do get good pattern mileage with this one!
The waist elastic on Mave is topstitched down for a professional finish and then a drawstring is added which can be cut to size. And there’s pockets - yay! Optional pockets can be added into the side seams and are understitched to stay neatly hidden during wear.

What's included:
As well as all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines, all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your projects as well as any interfacing that you will need. You will also be provided with your own copy of the True Bias Mave skirt pattern that will be yours to keep.
What do I need to bring:
You will need to bring the fabric for your dress. You are free to bring this with you or we have fabric available to buy in the studio.
Who is this class for?
This class is for you if you have used a sewing machine before and completed some simple clothing projects and feel ready to take on more challenging sewing pattern.
