Come make the iconic Zadie Jumpsuit, from Paper Theory pattens. The ultimate in secret pyjamas Zadie has a relaxed fit and is easy to wear.
It comes with the option of wide 3/4 length sleeves, or sleeveless with a dropped shoulder, Zadie It wraps around the body and fastens with a tie so no zips or buttons! Yay! The legs are cut wide and skim above the ankle and, IT HAS POCKETS!
On this class you will learn to make your own bias binding and how to attach it to the neck line, as well as how to create slant pockets in trousers. We will of course help you with all of the other techniques and processes involved in making your beautiful Zadie jumpsuit.
Paper Theory Patterns have sized this pattern 6-28. Size 6 is bust 80cm, waist 61cm & hips 86cm. Size 28 is bust 142cm, waist 121cm, hips 146cm. Please see this size chat in the photo gallery and contact us before booking if your measurements fall outside of this.
As well as all the tea you can drink, we will provide the sewing machines, all of the tools and threads you will need to complete your projects, and any interfacing that you will need. Lunch is provided in our all-day weekend classes.
What do I need to bring:
As we do not currently stock Paper Theory patterns you will need to buy yout own copy of the Zadie Jumpsuit pattern for this class. This is reflected in the price of the class. After booking we will send you a link to buy the pattern. You will need to bring the fabric that you need for your jumpsuit too.
Who is this class for? This is an adult improver dressmaking class. That means its not ideal as your first dressmaking class, or for complete beginners. You will need to be able to use a sewing machine and follow a seam allowance. Ideally you will have completed some beginner dressmaking projects such as our Sew a Simple range of classes.
